Logo AMAR

AMAR is not just an abbreviation A - academy + MAR - Mariánské Lázně, but it also encourages you to reflect. If you combine the Latin "amarus" for "bitter" and "amare" as "to love", you will reveal the secret: "Czech language is very demanding, it can seem bitter at first, but once you get used to it, you will start to love it!" The logo was created for the school by the artist Miroslav Houšť. It carries an atmosphere of spa gardens, the place where the school is located, and expresses an original combination of linguistics and natural sciences as taught subjects. A Marian crown is displayed above the letters, which symbolizes the very name and origin of the city of Mariánské Lázně. An ornament in the shape of a rose and the symbol of Aesculapius is placed below the font group. The rose is a beautiful, romantic flower, but must be handled with care as it is protected by sharp thorns. In the same way, studying abounds with flowers of success, but with any carelessness you may not reach them.
